Walk with Me <3

2014 January – Zambales

Outing with my high school friends in Zambales. This was supposed to be an all girls outing but my dad doesn’t want her “princess ” to drive all the way to Subic from Manila so he insist to let my husband go with us. Me and my husband don’t want to argue with my dad anymore so my he went with us. haha

Lunch at meat plus. One of my favorite restaurant here in Subic.

We decided to stay at Punta de Uian. Few years back me and my friends went to eat in this resort and saw that this resort is really nice. But as we arrived at the resort it looks like the management is not maintaining the resort well. This resort could have been the most luxurious in the area if it was properly maintained.

But don’t get me wrong, the resort is still good compare to the other resort in the area maybe I just expected too much because it was soooooo much better few years back.

The water in the pool is kind of yellowish / greenish. I do not know if it is because of the flooring or that the water is not that clean anymore.

Our two floor villa at the back. The villas are actually nice and it is not that expensive either. These villas can actually accommodate up to 10 people.

at the 2nd floor. (I forgot to take pictures in the 1st floor). The villa that we got has another bedroom downstairs, sala, kitchen and dining area. There is also a balcony on the 2nd floor and a sitting area on the first floor facing the beach.

Day 2

Boating to anawangin cove

At Anawangin. I remembered a different anawangin 4 years ago. Ive been here and it wasn’t like this. It is now so commercialized. All I can see from shore is fence everywhere. Everything is private already. If you pay for this area, you can only roam in this area. You have to pay again in order to get to another spot. Very sad. People go and camp here because it WAS a hidden gem. But now it is not anymore. =(

The forest. Well at least they are not still cutting all these trees to turn into a resort. =) Hopefully they won’t.

Goodbye Anawangin time to go back to the resort because we need to check out by 12pm >.<

goodbye Punta de Uian! hopefully in the next few years the management will do something to improve this resort. This resort has a potential to become a 4 to 5 star rating. >.<
